Simple|tasty & healthy smoothies
Nice recipe variety easy to substitute fruits / flavors when needed.
winter getting out the grinches
I had a fun time experimenting with new smoothie recipes I love how you go into more detail about all ingredients and how to make our own almond milk. My favorite was the Honey Turmeric. I am trying the red velvet smoothie as a desert this weekend. Planning on doing this again starting the 24th with the whole family.
An energizing|tasty and fun experience!
I thoroughly enjoyed the smoothie challenge and just downloaded the App for more recipes. Today’s smoothie was my favorite—tasty smooth easy to make and to drink. I love the health benefits and I love feeling more energized and excited. Especially given the last 2 years of COVID slowdowns this has been a fabulous and fun new experience. My favorite smoothies from this Challenge are: Today’s Blueberry Smoothie: tasty smooth pretty refreshing; enjoyed the cashew milk and cashew yogurt! Day 8: Creamy Banana Smoothie: loved the cashew milk and cashew yogurt—first time for me to taste either of them; This smoothie was tasty smooth and had a clean finish. Day 7: Pre Workout Smoothie: Great smell; refreshing and tasty. I added extra pineapple and peach to this one. Day 4: Lemon Smoothie: Very refreshing tasty (with a little added honey) healthy-feeling; Day 2: Strawberry smoothie: very smooth light refreshing and pretty Something I learned: I love cashew milk and cashew yogurt both of which were new to me—I also learned that making tasty nutritious smoothies is easy and quick and something I want hope and plan to continue doing on a daily basis. Thank you for a great smoothie challenge experience! All the best to all of you. Take care and stay healthy!
I’m a Boosted convert!
Easiest challenge I’ve ever done. It was such a joy to experience all the different smoothie combinations. I love the reviews where others (myself at times) made adaptations and thus “made it there own”. I’m such a rule follower. I had ordered the book and protein boost so I think I’m on board for a smoothie life.
A Smoothie a Day…
After getting out of the smoothie habit during the holidays, it was nice to get back into the routine. I started participating in the SGS challenges in March or April of 2021 and have come to love them. Jen and her crew work hard to make them fun and enjoyable, which I am grateful for. The support and encouragement from the Support group is priceless. My favorite smoothie was Beginner’s Luck because of the combination of flavors. I also liked the strawberry banana smoothie, the meal replacement smoothie, and the honey turmeric smoothie. There were lots of interesting and different types of smoothies to keep us motivated. I hope to continue this habit because it feels good to do something healthy for my body. Thanks again for the support and inspiration.

Choosing Smoothies For Life
Great job! Most of the smoothies were very good. A few I wasn’t really crazy about, but will experiment by changing up a few ingredients that I prefer and that fit better into my overall health plan. I generally used coconut water to substitute for water, pretty much always added spinach, vegan protein powder, hemp hearts and flax seed for the Omega 3’s. You really can’t taste these items, but they add alot of good nutrition. I have been making daily smoothies for many years, and experimented with lots of different fruits and vegetables. Some of my creations have been disasters, but some have been great. I enjoyed the process and trying new recipes! Thank you!
Smoothie Sailing…
I really enjoyed this challenge for two main reasons. I found a lot of smoothie recipes that are actually all delicious, AND I kicked off the year with a loss of 8 pounds on the scale! Thanks Jen for caring about others and finding an enjoyable way to help others gain happiness through better health. Much appreciated.
North Dakota mama going green
I love having more energy though out the day. I am an elementary school counselor and need tons of energy.
Hooked on Vitamix (and chocolate peanut butter smoothies!)!!
I very much enjoyed this challenge! I LOVE my Vitamix but didn’t realize I was in a rut. I had been making making the same smoothie daily for lunch, and I had forgotten the joy of blending whole nutrients to create something new. This challenge taught me to change it up and try new things! My favorite smoothie in this challenge is the Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie! What is better than chocolate and peanut butter? Nothing!!! I had never put cocoa in my smoothies prior, and now I can’t stop!!! Thank you for the fun!
Simple Green Goodness
I’ve been participating in the Simple Green Smoothie challenges since 2015 and I think these recipes have been the most delicious. I loved the variety of flavor combos. Will definitely be blending these again soon!
Sunshine In a Smoothie
What a great way to start the new year! I loved all the smoothies and love being part of this group where we share our favorites, etc. Thank you for including me.
Exploring new flavor combinations
I have never been confident in my ability to make a smoothie beyond the usual strawberry – banana OR using a store bought package. To get not only recipe but also a shopping list to prepare for this smoothie challenge was AMAZING in my journey to learn what is possible. There were some struggles to be honest in finding ingredients or right kind of ingredients but that is part of learning. Some of the flavors were not as good as I expected and some were very surprising. I have to say that I really am intrigued to learn more and experiment more based on this experience. I plan to remake some of these, combine few of them, and just be more adventurous in my smoothie journey. Thanks for creating the challenge and providing us the start we needed.
Learned something new each day!!!
I love that I learned or tried something new each day whether a new ingredient (cashew milk, etc.) or a new combination of fruits and veggies that I would never combine. My favorite was the chocolate peanut butte smoothie. I added protein boost. It’s all my favs in one beverage!! The accomplishment I like to call out that was most impactful for me is the easy incorporation of more veggies and fruits in my diet. The shopping list made this easy for me as I look to change my pre-diabetes diagnosis. These smoothies will help me bring whole fruits and vegetables, which means that there is lots of fiber in everything to help keep my blood sugars levels from spiking.
Really expanded my horizons to start the year!
Trying all of the unique smoothies in this challenge pushed me out of my comfort zone – deliciously! The variety of the recipes was a bit daunting initially but I was determined to try all of them. And found many I really liked! I even enjoyed adding cauliflower to my smoothie!
