This challenge is for you if…
Ten days, ten salads, and the shopping already worked out. Here’s who it’s really for.
Your salads have gone boring
The same leaves and bottled dressing every time. Ten days of recipes that taste like you meant it.
You want a real meal, not a side
Pasta salads, grain bowls, roasted vegetables — hearty enough to be lunch and dinner.
You want more vegetables in your day
The easiest way to eat a lot of them, without turning the oven on most nights.
You hate wasting produce
One grocery list for the whole ten days, so the greens get used before they turn.
Lunch is the meal you skip
Something ready in the fridge beats whatever is quickest at one o’clock.
You like doing it with other people
A challenge with a start date, daily emails, and a crowd doing it alongside you.
What’s inside the challenge
Ten days of salads worth looking forward to, with the thinking already done.

Menu
10-day salad menu
A new one every day — Healthy Taco, Vegan Potato, Kale Caesar, Bright Berry. Each serves two, so dinner leaves lunch behind.

Groceries
One grocery list
Split across two trips, days 1–5 and 6–10, so the spinach never turns before you reach it.

Prep
A salad prep guide
Dressings made ahead in little jars, vegetables chopped and waiting. Then it is grab, toss and eat.

Emails
Motivation emails
Encouragement, quick tips and reminders from me, start to finish. We’re in this together.

Fuel your passion
It started with one green smoothie. That was the whole plan — one a day, every day, and let it add up. I was exhausted, stressed out and frustrated with my body, and a smoothie was the one thing I could manage.
Smoothies turned into soups, soups turned into salads, and eventually it turned into this. Somewhere along the way I stopped surviving each day and started living it — a backyard family farm, running across the Grand Canyon twice in a single day, hiking to the top of the tallest waterfall in North America with my kids.
What I’ve learned from all of it is that repetition and focus are what make results happen. So ten days of salads, one after another, will get you good at this — confident making salads that are filling, full of flavor, and that actually taste good.

FAQs
Two. Enjoy one for dinner and the other as lunch leftovers the next day, or do the challenge with someone and have exactly the right amount each day. The shopping list is worked out on that basis.
So your produce doesn’t go bad. You buy only what you need for the first five days, then shop again for days six to ten. There’s nothing enjoyable about opening a bag of rancid spinach.
Both, and that’s deliberate. Fruit salads, potato salads, garden salads — some are filling enough to be dinner on their own, others are better alongside something. It’s up to you which way you take each one.
Yes, and I’d recommend it. Make the dressings ahead and keep them in small airtight containers, and chop most of the vegetables and fruit in advance — just wait to wash until you’re ready to eat. Three recipes want nuts soaked the night before, so set a phone reminder.
Not at all. Keep drinking one right through the challenge — I will. The more plants, the merrier.
A ten-day salad menu, a done-for-you grocery list split across the two shopping trips, a salad prep guide, a full-colour interactive PDF, and a motivation email from me each day. It’s yours to keep and cook from again.

What people say after ten days of salads.
Just what I needed
Living in a rural area with limited access to organic produce has thrown a wrench in my usual eating pattern. I used the challenge to inspire me to try harder – and that I did. Though it took a lot more time to acquire the groceries I needed it was well worth it. My sleep digestion and energy level were all improved over the last 14 days. (I started early and repeated some salads). My favorite was the taco (amazing flavor) and my least favorite was the strawberry mixed greens (too wet). Others that ranked high were potato lemon arugala sweet and Crunchy and crunchy carrot. My biggest win was that the hubby was asking me daily “what salad are we having today” 🙂 Thanks Jen and SGS!!!
Definitely expanded my horizons!
This challenge encouraged me to use new ingredients that I had never even heard of before as well as the healthy classics that I love. I really enjoyed the taco salad and the potato salad!! I loved how colourful flavourful and interesting all of the recipes were. They weren’t too difficult and it was fun for me and my husband to do together. It was also super sweet to hear about others journeys and tips. We also added in a few runs to get our physician exercise which made us feel even better. It was a great challenge!
Rawsome Salad Challenge!
This salad challenge was so fun! I’m used to eating the same old boring salads for lunch and needed a change. This challenge gave me some delicious recipes that sometimes took me out of my comfort zone which was a good thing. I also was eating a salad for lunch and then another with dinner. It was easy to incorporate into my families meals and my kids enjoyed some of them as well! Thanks Jen and team for a super fun challenge filled with lots of yummy salads!
Fun With Salads
This was such a fun challenge. And a challenge it was. First was the shopping – it was a bit like a scavenger hunt in my little town. (Never did find kale or fennel.) And then finding out what would work instead. And second such fun combinations of textures & flavors. My favorites were the Vegan Potato Salad & the Lemon Arugula Salad. What I learned was that I like chickpeas & sugar snap peas. And how easy it is to make a salad dressing. Absolutely loved the challenge.
Plant Power =s WOW Power
A wonderful challenge to get you thinking about using ingredients in different ways/different combinations. A great way to expand your palate. It never is a waste of time and/or energy to grow yourself into being a more healthier person.
Perma Greens
Excellent, energetic and fun!
Easy tools to stay on track
Great way to incorporate more veggies into daily meals. Shopping list and recipes made it easy to stick with the goal.
Surprised by Salad!
I joined the challenge in order to up my repertoire of salad making, and my expectations were exceeded. The various salads were all very good, and 4 or 5 were outstanding. Little did I know I would be testing the waters with my husband for a more plant based diet … he really enjoyed the 10 days. Other benefits were coming off a weight loss plateau and reducing unhealthy snack cravings. I believe I am a bit more clear headed, too.
“A FEAST FOR THE EYES AS WELL AS HEALTHY FOR THE BODY”
Grateful for the list to purchase in 5 day increments so the items would not spoil. Grateful for the time you put in researching and making the meals delicious for us. Many of the recipes will be put to use many times over, especially the taco salad, full of flavor, delicious and so eye appealing. Would not hesitate in making it for company or for the organizations I belong to.
yummy good for me salad various recipes
I like to try different healthy that are good for me to consume every day. I have baby spinach salads and 50/50 mix salads. I add small several different sides on top my salads with grape tomatoes, celery and jumbo olives for my late lunch/early supper one meal each day.
Sallicious
I had fun creating my own salads. I would have never, own my own eaten a salad every day for ten days. I enjoyed the salads. They were not only delicious, they were filling. The reward was feeling great and pounds shed.
Never Say Never
I am almost 80 years old and love the salad challenge. Love the variety and being able to adjust in ways that can make the family happy. I own two Vita Mixers and use them almost every day, depending on what I am making and what I want to try. It is always fun to get family to eat things they say they would never eat (until they find out they just ate it)! That includes me (even though I just made it.) “Never say never!”
