This challenge is for you if…
Ten days, ten salads, and the shopping already worked out. Here’s who it’s really for.
Your salads have gone boring
The same leaves and bottled dressing every time. Ten days of recipes that taste like you meant it.
You want a real meal, not a side
Pasta salads, grain bowls, roasted vegetables — hearty enough to be lunch and dinner.
You want more vegetables in your day
The easiest way to eat a lot of them, without turning the oven on most nights.
You hate wasting produce
One grocery list for the whole ten days, so the greens get used before they turn.
Lunch is the meal you skip
Something ready in the fridge beats whatever is quickest at one o’clock.
You like doing it with other people
A challenge with a start date, daily emails, and a crowd doing it alongside you.
What’s inside the challenge
Ten days of salads worth looking forward to, with the thinking already done.

Menu
10-day salad menu
A new one every day — Healthy Taco, Vegan Potato, Kale Caesar, Bright Berry. Each serves two, so dinner leaves lunch behind.

Groceries
One grocery list
Split across two trips, days 1–5 and 6–10, so the spinach never turns before you reach it.

Prep
A salad prep guide
Dressings made ahead in little jars, vegetables chopped and waiting. Then it is grab, toss and eat.

Emails
Motivation emails
Encouragement, quick tips and reminders from me, start to finish. We’re in this together.

Fuel your passion
It started with one green smoothie. That was the whole plan — one a day, every day, and let it add up. I was exhausted, stressed out and frustrated with my body, and a smoothie was the one thing I could manage.
Smoothies turned into soups, soups turned into salads, and eventually it turned into this. Somewhere along the way I stopped surviving each day and started living it — a backyard family farm, running across the Grand Canyon twice in a single day, hiking to the top of the tallest waterfall in North America with my kids.
What I’ve learned from all of it is that repetition and focus are what make results happen. So ten days of salads, one after another, will get you good at this — confident making salads that are filling, full of flavor, and that actually taste good.

FAQs
Two. Enjoy one for dinner and the other as lunch leftovers the next day, or do the challenge with someone and have exactly the right amount each day. The shopping list is worked out on that basis.
So your produce doesn’t go bad. You buy only what you need for the first five days, then shop again for days six to ten. There’s nothing enjoyable about opening a bag of rancid spinach.
Both, and that’s deliberate. Fruit salads, potato salads, garden salads — some are filling enough to be dinner on their own, others are better alongside something. It’s up to you which way you take each one.
Yes, and I’d recommend it. Make the dressings ahead and keep them in small airtight containers, and chop most of the vegetables and fruit in advance — just wait to wash until you’re ready to eat. Three recipes want nuts soaked the night before, so set a phone reminder.
Not at all. Keep drinking one right through the challenge — I will. The more plants, the merrier.
A ten-day salad menu, a done-for-you grocery list split across the two shopping trips, a salad prep guide, a full-colour interactive PDF, and a motivation email from me each day. It’s yours to keep and cook from again.

What people say after ten days of salads.
SGS has done it again…
I am just blown away how each challenge and cleanse gets better and better. Never would I have thought I would enjoy eating plant based foods. The recipes are amazing. I loved the taco salad and the lemon tarragon salads the most. I have only been on this plant based journey for 4 months now and I am hooked. The recipes are so tasty. I have learned so much from simple greens and all the amazing Rawk in the support group. Thank you for all you help and encouragement. I am looking forward to the spring challenge and more new recipes. Again thank you Jen and staff and all the great sponsors for another successful challenge. I have also enjoyed the running challenge ( walking for me). Between that and run the year, I plan to continue my fitness journey. I doesn’t seem like a challenge when you feel so good. Keep rawking everyone!
New foodie convert.
I have enjoyed the recipes in this challenge. It is so fun to try new & fun healthy foods, especially salads!!
So “Munch” Goodness
I loved this challenge! The variety of salads was a terrific thing for me. The dressings were so delicious too! Definitely a To Be Continued…!
Salads, Salads and More Salads
I loved this challenge. I’m trying to eat healthier due to some health issues. I have always loved salads but didn’t know how to mix and match all the different fruits and veggies and what dressings to use with each one. I learned so much in the last 10 days and will be able to make healthier choices and fabulous salads because of it. Thank you so much Jen and I can’t wait to see what challenge you will come up with next. 😊😊😊
Fun and easy!
I loved the 10 day salad challenge! The recipes are delicious and have a great variety of vegetables. I thought I would get tired of salads for 10 days, but they are all so different. The shopping lists and prepping tips make it so easy to stay on track. I also love the flexibility of making it a meal or a side. After 10 days I have a ton more energy and even lost a few pounds. My favorite salad was day 1 because I loved the strawberry dressing! I will definitely be adding several of these recipes to my regular menu!
I lot of fun making new recipes.
I didn’t enjoy all of the salads that much. I really enjoyed that the challenge pushed me to try some new recipes. I will be making some of them again. I don’t have a favorite yet.
Yum-o!
I really enjoyed making new salads and the dressings that went with them. The dressings made these salads taste oh so amazing and enjoyable. I liked having a variety of salads to make, as well as condiments to accompany them. The carrot salad was excellent and so was the bright berry salad. All the salads were excellent, although, I did need to leave off some ingredients. For instance, I can’t have walnuts. Also, cannellini beans were out for me. I did not bother with the kale or many nuts. I am unable to do nuts and kale at this time. However, since one can make their own modifications, this was versatile enough to do so and omit items that did not work for the individual. I really would like to do the smoothie challenge. Thank you so much for making this available. It was very timely for me. Also, bonus that these were simple to prepare. And that says a lot for me, because I usually do not have time to make something just for myself. 🙂
Plant time
It was very challenging to keep up but very beneficial for the body and a lot to learn about salads. If it is possible, I will really like this salads challenging to be repeated every month.
Nothing new esp if you don’t participate with Fb stuff
I was already doing the March challenge, just wanted to kick it up a bit. Downloaded the recipe pdf so that was cool, but just tired of everything being tied to Fb. Not everyone lives and breathes that site. 🤷🏻♀️
Chomp & go!
Loads of fun experiencing new salad recipes and making dressings to boot! The best was having my spouse agree to do this challenge with me and much to my chagrin he loved the salads too! Who knew this would be the case?!! So happy he ventured out of his born to do work me and says he loves salad and could eat one every day! After decades of marriage, he still surprises me! 😃😃
A Fabulous Way to Try New Things and Eat Healthier
Our whole family loved participating in the 10-Day Challenge. My kids helped me shop for and prepare the salads. We loved trying new recipes that we wouldn’t normally have sought out. We don’t usually eat vegan, but we were excited to discover some new vegan recipes to add into our mix. It’s also great to have learned to make some delicious and beautiful salads that we can serve guests or bring to parties. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We are so grateful!
Spring in the Air
Really liked the taste of strawberries in the strawberry vinaigrette!
Awesome
The 10-day smoothie challenge was lots of fun and the salads were amazing. All the recipes were easy to follow and assemble and the dressings were delicious. It was easy to adapt to ingredients on hand and add favorite items. I added purple potato to the potato salad, and mixed endive to the kale salad! I really looked forward to making a different salad every day, taking photos and I look forward to next challenge.
Great Way to Reset
It only 10 days and that 10 days helps you to reset, focus on nutrition.
