This challenge is for you if…
Ten days, ten salads, and the shopping already worked out. Here’s who it’s really for.
Your salads have gone boring
The same leaves and bottled dressing every time. Ten days of recipes that taste like you meant it.
You want a real meal, not a side
Pasta salads, grain bowls, roasted vegetables — hearty enough to be lunch and dinner.
You want more vegetables in your day
The easiest way to eat a lot of them, without turning the oven on most nights.
You hate wasting produce
One grocery list for the whole ten days, so the greens get used before they turn.
Lunch is the meal you skip
Something ready in the fridge beats whatever is quickest at one o’clock.
You like doing it with other people
A challenge with a start date, daily emails, and a crowd doing it alongside you.
What’s inside the challenge
Ten days of salads worth looking forward to, with the thinking already done.

Menu
10-day salad menu
A new one every day — Healthy Taco, Vegan Potato, Kale Caesar, Bright Berry. Each serves two, so dinner leaves lunch behind.

Groceries
One grocery list
Split across two trips, days 1–5 and 6–10, so the spinach never turns before you reach it.

Prep
A salad prep guide
Dressings made ahead in little jars, vegetables chopped and waiting. Then it is grab, toss and eat.

Emails
Motivation emails
Encouragement, quick tips and reminders from me, start to finish. We’re in this together.

Fuel your passion
It started with one green smoothie. That was the whole plan — one a day, every day, and let it add up. I was exhausted, stressed out and frustrated with my body, and a smoothie was the one thing I could manage.
Smoothies turned into soups, soups turned into salads, and eventually it turned into this. Somewhere along the way I stopped surviving each day and started living it — a backyard family farm, running across the Grand Canyon twice in a single day, hiking to the top of the tallest waterfall in North America with my kids.
What I’ve learned from all of it is that repetition and focus are what make results happen. So ten days of salads, one after another, will get you good at this — confident making salads that are filling, full of flavor, and that actually taste good.

FAQs
Two. Enjoy one for dinner and the other as lunch leftovers the next day, or do the challenge with someone and have exactly the right amount each day. The shopping list is worked out on that basis.
So your produce doesn’t go bad. You buy only what you need for the first five days, then shop again for days six to ten. There’s nothing enjoyable about opening a bag of rancid spinach.
Both, and that’s deliberate. Fruit salads, potato salads, garden salads — some are filling enough to be dinner on their own, others are better alongside something. It’s up to you which way you take each one.
Yes, and I’d recommend it. Make the dressings ahead and keep them in small airtight containers, and chop most of the vegetables and fruit in advance — just wait to wash until you’re ready to eat. Three recipes want nuts soaked the night before, so set a phone reminder.
Not at all. Keep drinking one right through the challenge — I will. The more plants, the merrier.
A ten-day salad menu, a done-for-you grocery list split across the two shopping trips, a salad prep guide, a full-colour interactive PDF, and a motivation email from me each day. It’s yours to keep and cook from again.

What people say after ten days of salads.
Simply Satisfying Salads!
Although I love salads, I get tired of them rather quickly! However, that is something I cannot say about the 10 days salad challenge. Each salad was unique and the dressings were fabulous! I was happy when I had leftover salad for lunch seven of the 10 days! There were some new additions to salads that I had never considered before, such as fennel, nor had I ever made cashew Cream but it’s certainly a recipe that I will have at hand. I’ve discovered I can really enjoy salad daily without getting tired of them! My favorite – and my family’s – Was the kale Caesar salad. I learned a new trick to soften kale and it seemed to take out a little at the bitterness as well. And the cashew garlic aioli tasted very similar to the dressing on a regular Caesar salad. I think I can eat it every day! I’m so glad that I joined this 10 day challenge not only for the salads but also for the Physical activity motivation. This is a challenge I would love to do again!
Springing into Spring
Always wonderful to find new healthy and delicious-looking recipes–and actually have the extra incentive to try them!
Great Couples Challenge – Something to Talk About
Each wee, my partner and I would do our grocery list and the same recipes kept coming up. This challenge was great to change up our meal plan while staying healthy. I really enjoyed the Facebook forum to hear about what other challengers used for alternatives. It allowed my partner and I to experience new tastes! The one thing I also really liked is that I find many times when you try these challenges or plant-based recipes they often are really spicy. I am not a fan of spicy. So I liked how the recipes were full of flavor without needing to be spicy. Two things that we got out of this challenge that I did not anticipate. This challenge was a great way conversation between my partner and I. We both like to cook; so trying new recipes allowed us to talk about what we liked and what we might have changed. I got to know my partner’s thoughts and tastes more and get to know him better. The second thing I did not anticipate was how easy it was to clean up. Many times after we cook we have piles of dishes. With these salads (and helped already having a vitamix) the cleanup was often times 1 to 2 items. We both had room in the kitchen to help bring the meal together which the prep and clean up saved us both time. And we both got to enjoy doing it together. Unlike most challengers we actually did our salads for dinner so we could enjoy our meals together. We both really liked having that light meal before winding down for bed. We both felt better the next morning. Overall – we loved the experience and would absolutely want to try the next one! This was our first time but this won’t be our last! Thank you so much for putting this together.
Healthy jumpstart
I love how this challenge gave the resources and recipes! It didn’t just say do this. It gave all those tasty recipes as well. It helped me to change up my boring everyday salad. I really enjoyed the healthy taco salad option. It had lots of flavor and colors to help keep me motivated
Healthy green adventure
It was interesting to try new salad ideas. They all looked great. I could not eat some of them because they have things in them that don’t fit my keto diet. I did enjoy the ones I could eat. It is always a good idea to keep an open mind about new salad ideas.
Kickstart to more veggies
This challenge was just what I needed to get back in the habit of planning meals (and packing lunch). I am now on a path to better, more veggie filled eating.
A great motivation
this encouraged me to eat totally more healthy. I was happy to see that you are encouraging others to do the challenge and also change their eating habits.
Open your eyes and health to new salad choices
My family and I really enjoyed eating our way through the 10-Day Salad Challenge. We ate more salads and certainly tried many new recipes. Most of them were excellent and only a few rated a 3 out of 5. One of our favorites, much to our surprise, was the Lemony Caesar Salad and we liked the ones with berries and the potato salad a lot too.
Walk On The Wild Side
The salads were absolutely delicious! As an avid eater of salads, it was fabulous to incorporate a menu of awesomeness in my daily intake. Adding a mile or more of daily walks through the area, were lovely as Spring made its debut.
Goin’ Green
This was a great challenge. It took me out of my comfort zone and since I am a “foodie” and love to cook I was inspired to try new ideas. It was a great challenge and glad that I participated.
Eating More Veggiew
This challenge really increased the variety of veggies I eat. No more boring salads!
The Mix
Wonderful initiative in giving people knowledge about living healthy lives. I hope they can do more challenges.
Salad bonanza challenge
This was so much fun!!! It got me motivated to eat salad every day and try some really good recipes. Now I have a lot of the ingredients at home, so it won’t stop here. I’m excited to try new things to mix it up a little bit. My favorite is adding fruit to my salads and feta cheese with a greek dressing.
Healthy plants, happy dance, shrunk my pants!
This 10-day challenge was transforming for me! I’m a diabetic and like everyone, need eat healthy and move after I eat. I’ve always liked salads, and don’t use recipes much, so this was nice to try different combinations and dressings. It was inspiring to hear from others; how they managed to get salads made and get some kind of movement in each day. I made sure to keep it going when we traveled to family and that was due to commiting to the challenge! We even got out for a walk when we had a rare rain here in California! Sometimes my movement was as simple as a dance around the house before we’d go walk. It definitely kept me from going out for some of our meals. Thank you for the salad challenge and providing so much healthy variety! I did appreciate hearing from others and I hope to continue on a journey that balances my blood sugars, keeps me in good shape and tastes great too!
