This challenge is for you if…
Ten days, ten salads, and the shopping already worked out. Here’s who it’s really for.
Your salads have gone boring
The same leaves and bottled dressing every time. Ten days of recipes that taste like you meant it.
You want a real meal, not a side
Pasta salads, grain bowls, roasted vegetables — hearty enough to be lunch and dinner.
You want more vegetables in your day
The easiest way to eat a lot of them, without turning the oven on most nights.
You hate wasting produce
One grocery list for the whole ten days, so the greens get used before they turn.
Lunch is the meal you skip
Something ready in the fridge beats whatever is quickest at one o’clock.
You like doing it with other people
A challenge with a start date, daily emails, and a crowd doing it alongside you.
What’s inside the challenge
Ten days of salads worth looking forward to, with the thinking already done.

Menu
10-day salad menu
A new one every day — Healthy Taco, Vegan Potato, Kale Caesar, Bright Berry. Each serves two, so dinner leaves lunch behind.

Groceries
One grocery list
Split across two trips, days 1–5 and 6–10, so the spinach never turns before you reach it.

Prep
A salad prep guide
Dressings made ahead in little jars, vegetables chopped and waiting. Then it is grab, toss and eat.

Emails
Motivation emails
Encouragement, quick tips and reminders from me, start to finish. We’re in this together.

Fuel your passion
It started with one green smoothie. That was the whole plan — one a day, every day, and let it add up. I was exhausted, stressed out and frustrated with my body, and a smoothie was the one thing I could manage.
Smoothies turned into soups, soups turned into salads, and eventually it turned into this. Somewhere along the way I stopped surviving each day and started living it — a backyard family farm, running across the Grand Canyon twice in a single day, hiking to the top of the tallest waterfall in North America with my kids.
What I’ve learned from all of it is that repetition and focus are what make results happen. So ten days of salads, one after another, will get you good at this — confident making salads that are filling, full of flavor, and that actually taste good.

FAQs
Two. Enjoy one for dinner and the other as lunch leftovers the next day, or do the challenge with someone and have exactly the right amount each day. The shopping list is worked out on that basis.
So your produce doesn’t go bad. You buy only what you need for the first five days, then shop again for days six to ten. There’s nothing enjoyable about opening a bag of rancid spinach.
Both, and that’s deliberate. Fruit salads, potato salads, garden salads — some are filling enough to be dinner on their own, others are better alongside something. It’s up to you which way you take each one.
Yes, and I’d recommend it. Make the dressings ahead and keep them in small airtight containers, and chop most of the vegetables and fruit in advance — just wait to wash until you’re ready to eat. Three recipes want nuts soaked the night before, so set a phone reminder.
Not at all. Keep drinking one right through the challenge — I will. The more plants, the merrier.
A ten-day salad menu, a done-for-you grocery list split across the two shopping trips, a salad prep guide, a full-colour interactive PDF, and a motivation email from me each day. It’s yours to keep and cook from again.

What people say after ten days of salads.
Appreciate the Enthusiasm|but Room for Improvement
I didn’t always want to make the exact salad that was promoted each day. Many were too sweet; they also don’t all use seasonal ingredients and/or what I have on hand. Therefore it seemed too prescriptive. I’d suggest offering more flexibility in the future. Also I’d suggest promoting local meet-ups (eg potlucks group walks) in cities where multiple participants live so this could be more engaging.
Salad Shenanigans
It was indeed a challenge! And a welcome one. A time to reset a time to commit to structure and discipline with learning and tastebud joy mixed in! A recipe for success. It was also a wonderful experience shared with my family spending time cooking together and exploring new food combinations and completely new foods (walnut meat!). It feels good to complete the challenge and I look forward to the next! Let’s get up to some shenanigans again soon 🙂
Fresh Start!
I am so happy that I found this 10-Day Challenge which has now turned into a “lifetime commitment.” This challenge has opened my mind to many different things not only amazing new recipes(which is why I signed up) but I also gained new confidence in trying things that I never thought I would. It has also allowed me to be more committed to myself. Not only for me but for my family as well. Many of the new recipes will be added to our weekly meals…even the kids enjoyed them! Thank you for putting this together and helping me bring a large variety of new challenges into our home. The daily posts were a huge inspiration to even “play” with the recipes given and create new ideas. My favorite so far has been the taco salad…who knew “walnut taco meat” delicious and the cashew cream can be used for so many things! Thanks again!
Veggies for days!
I really enjoyed this challenge. Working at a pretty demanding job with a long commute means that putting the effort into eating healthy doesn’t always happen for me like it should. Having the recipes AND the shopping lists made this challenge so much easier! I can do stuff like this if someone just does the planning for me! I plan to keep on adding more fruits and veggies to my diet. At this point I am probably 90% vegetarian. I feel good and I’ve noticed that even though the scale hasn’t actually moved my tummy is flatter and my jeans feel a little looser. I also enjoyed the recipes so much! Many of them I will definitely be making again!
Excitement each day
Thank you so much for 10 day salad recipes which gave me pleasure of only fixing not having have to plan myself on vegan dinner meals since I have had the alpha gal allergy for a few months and have to mostly eat vegan. I have been blessed and will definitely use them a lot. My husband is to have shoulder surgery in a few days and is a diabetic and has helped him also, so all in all it has been good for us both. Thanks so very much.
Green Freak
My coworkers say I’m part rabbit, so this challenge was easy and very enjoyable for me. I loved expanding my recipe collection and getting new ideas to alter some old recipes I’ve been making for years. I will continue to follow simple green smoothies and Jen. Can’t wait to find the next challenge. Thanks
Salad Sampling
The salad challenge kept me very busy. I learned to use many new healthy ingredients in tasty ways. hoped to lose belly fat. Instead, I lost fatigue and gained energy. I was going to skip this challenge as do not often have salads. I am so glad I participated. Now my challenge is to use up all the healthy leftover salads and herbs and greens and berries. The green feast continues. I love soups and really look forward to the soup challenge.
Spring Salad Fun!
These recipes are so wonderful, and inspired me to walk and be healthy. It was a wonderful way to start the spring!
Great way to add more veggies
This was a great challenge with some awesome recipes. The support group was a nice addition, especially seeing how people paired the salads or swapped some ingredients (like alternatives when you couldn’t find tarragon). I didn’t do all the recipes in order because of schedule, but having access to all of them at the beginning of the challenge provided flexibility.
An adventure for expanding tasted
Who knew? I had no clue that I could use walnuts as taco meat, let alone like and that my kids would too. I found that a splash of pickle juice and a dash of Dijon actually is not bad when mixed correctly with other ingredients (2 ingredients that I actually typically won’t touch). I also found a whole new world of dressings beyond Ranch and Italian. Cashew cream and strawberry basil, among others, will be repeats in our house. I don’t regret doing this challenge one bit and I am glad I came in with an open mind. Thank you!
Feeling Energized with Salads!
What better way to get get my mind, body and spirit feeling energized than the 10 day salad challenge? “Simple Green” did the work by supplying recipes and all I had to do was buy the products, eat and enjoy! Lots of people refer salads to “rabbit food” and these salads leave me feeling full, satisfied and revitalized! Jen and the Rockstar Team are so helpful and supportive; they are always welcoming and resourceful! I never thought about a salad for breakfast!?!?! But if you think about it, Strawberries, Blue Berries & Pineapple make a quick and easy breakfast bowl. Resources? Oh yes, the 10 day Salad Challenge is full of resources beginning with the daily healthy recipes. The fitness tracker is a great aid. Grocery Coupons! Jen and the Rock are great if you have a question or comment. Each salad is completely different and so there is no comparison and by adding the Simple Green Protein, I got a complete meal. So, I enjoyed the 10 day challenge and will continue enjoying them! Fruit Salads, Pasta Salads, Potato Salad, and Arugula Salads… as per Jen Hansard… All I can say is, Enjoy!!.
