Smoothie Challenge Reviews
What past challengers say after a week of smoothies.
Fun new recipes!
This was such a fun way to get some new recipes since I always tend to revert back to the same old ones I always make! Avocado was especially good (had never tried it in a smoothie before)!!
Smoothie exploring
I never thought about adding a avocado to a smoothie. Will be doing this more often. My favorite smoothie I. The smoothie challenge was the pineapple mint smoothie. It was very refreshing on
Fun challenge to get your greens!
I had got out of the habit of making green smoothies, but this came at the perfect time when I was starting my CSA and the first few weeks are abundant with greens! I felt so much better staring the day with a nutrient packed smoothie, and will be more likely to continue making a couple smoothies a week! My favorite smoothie is hands down the pineapple mint smoothie, because it feels like a tropical vacation!
Super fun challenge
I love healthy eating and having a way to make it fun is awesome! My biggest win is that my 22 month old is now downing green smoothies like they’re ice cream. He calls them foovies. He refuses greens when I present them at dinner, so this is a great way to push some veggies and new flavors. My favorite was the orange julius. It was tasty and full of greens and vitamin c. It’s such a great way to start the day. I loved having so many different options to try. It was a nice change from my standard berries and bananas.
Summer smoothie kick off
Watermelon Smoothie was my favorite since it is super refreshing and a great way to use up leftover watermelon.
Welcome variety
This was a great shake up to my smoothie rut! I love a portable breakfast. My favorite smoothie from this week was the creamsicle. It was delicious and included greens which is my preference. The chocolate smoothie from day 10 was a close second.
Fun Challenge
This challenge was great as there was a wide variety of smoothie types, (not just green ones). —-My win was getting more veggies into my kids through these smoothies. -Our favorite was the orange Julius smoothie. – it was our favorite because the taste was great, but it also had spinach added to it for more health benefits .
Fun way to push healthy eating!
Over the last ten days I was able to find a way to make green smoothies that were actually delicious! I learned a lot along the way in terms of how to adjust recipes to increase the nutritional value and cut sugar. My favorite was the chocolate protein smoothie! It was so creamy and had a strong chocolate flavor! Definitely will be making that again.
Great Recipes
Loved every one of them! Thanks, Jen.
Splendid Smoothies!
I liked the coolness of each smoothie since temperatures in my area have been in the high 90s along with humid conditions. I lost 4 lbs. so that’s a win! I really loved each smoothie, but the date shake reminded me of visiting my daughter in Southern California when we go to the date farm and sip on these shakes!
Smoothie Challenge
I liked the Orange Julius recipe. It was easy to make and was filling with a yummy flavor .
Happy All day!
This challenge was a great way to get my healthy boost for the day and carry me through lunch. I have my kiddos so getting swell balanced meal can be a challenge. My favorite smoothie was the avocado spinach. I will be adding these to my smoothie arsenal!!
Top Notch
As always, the challenge from SGS was a WIN! I love trying new smoothie recipes and these recipes don’t disappoint! My favorite was the Tropical Smoothie Bowl, as it is just so darn refreshing (it made my taste buds sing out loud), but many others will be added to my regular rotation. My win is that the smoothies don’t have to be just for breakfast–the watermelon smoothie was a perfect warm afternoon treat!
Smoothie Challenge
I enjoyed this; gave us some good smoothie recipes to work into our morning rotations! Thanks!!
So Fresh And So Clean
One win I had, I know I gave my digestive tract a rest. I was feeling sluggish and I had headaches. After finishing this challenge, I feel refreshed and lighter. I think I will continue to have one smoothie everyday from now on. Omg, I liked all the recipes! If I have to choose one, I would choose the Strawberry Smoothie. I choose this smoothie because I love cherries, strawberries and cashews. It was sooo good and creamy. It hit the spot so good I had two in one day.
