This Chia Berry Green Smoothie is the perfect recipe to start your day! Chia seeds are one of our favorite superfoods. They are a great source of omega fatty acids, calcium, and are packed with antioxidants. What’s more, chia seeds contain lots of soluble fiber to help keep your digestive system happy. Combined with nutrient-rich spinach, low-calorie berries, and vitamin-C-packed orange, this recipe is sure to nourish your body while keeping your tastebuds happy and your tummy full! Enjoy!

Description

Berries are naturally sweet immunity boosters, low-calorie, and full of antioxidants. Add some chia seeds + orange to the mix, and you’ve got a recipe that’s packed with fiber, vitamin C, and healthy fat that will help keep you fuller longer. Bonus—chia seeds help support your digestive tract to keep things moving regularly (always a plus!).


Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 cup spinach
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 orange (peeled)
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries (frozen)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Place spinach, water, and chia seeds in blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. Enjoy!

Notes

Use at least one frozen fruit to make smoothie nice and cold.
